Video Bronchoscope
Video Bronchoscope
The BF-F260 provides superb fluorescent imaging in a slim videobronchoscope. Autofluorescence imaging mode improves detection of malignant or pre-malignant tissue changes, while the normal white light mode provides additional image details of the bronchial mucosa. In addition, the BF-F260 is compatible with a range of EndoTherapy accessories, biopsies can be reliably performed under autofluorescence and or white light mode.
Compatible to the imaging platform EVIS LUCERA SPECTRUM.
The BF-F260 combines bright, clear autofluorescence imaging (AFI) capability with superb, high-resolution white light mode in a slim videobronchoscope. In AFI mode, blue excitation light causes deeper tissue layers to fluoresce, fluorescence light is detected by the high-sensitivity CCD. Suspicious areas with a low fluorescence response are displayed in magenta colour, whereas inflamed tissue is displayed in dark green colour. Adding a unique feature to autofluorescence bronchoscopy, the system allows distinction between inflammation and malignant or pre-malignant tissue transformation. White light imaging provides superb, high-resolution images. Switching between both modes is fast and easy.
A high-sensitivity CCD enables the BF-F260 to generate bright fluorescent images. The additionally implemented capability to measure 'green reflection light' simplifies the differentiation of inflammation and malignant lesions thus potentially increases the specificity of the procedure.
This slim bronchoscope allows the detection of tissue transformation in the trachea and the bronchial mucosa.
The BF-F260 has a standard 2.0 mm working channel, giving compatibility with a wide range of accessories, including high-frequency electric current and YAG lasers.
The CCD captures superb, high-resolution images in normal mode, and it is simple to switch back and forth between normal and fluorescent modes.
A built-in memory chip stores scope information and displays it on the monitor, facilitating endoscopy suite management.
The BF-F260 provides advanced AFI in a slim 5.5 mm diameter scope, incorporating the sensitivity to detect the fluorescence reaction of the body and the ability to capture green reflection light and allowing you to distinguish between inflammation and thickened mucosal tissue for improved diagnostics.
Using Olympus AFI mode, your scope will deliver one large image allowing you to differentiate 3 aspects: normal and increased tissue thickness and highly vascularized areas. The comparison or merging of two separate images is obsolete.
The high-sensitivity CCD provides you with superb images in white light mode, allowing you to differentiate mucosal structures crisply and clearly.
The standard 2.0 mm instrument channel is compatible with a wide variety of accessories, allowing you to conduct diagnostic and interventional bronchoscopy procedures.
The videobronchoscope has a built-in memory chip, which allows it to display scope information on your monitor; thus enabling you to keep better track of the bronchoscopes in your pulmonology lab or operating room.
The BF-F260 can be embedded in your cleaning and disinfection workflows, supporting full traceability and documentation of all reprocessing relevant phases.
The BF-F260 is fully compatible with Olympus ETD Washer / Disinfectors and the Olympus Endoscope Drying Cabinet for complete endoscope drying and storage for extended periods under safe conditions.
Optional Sterilisation is supported by compatibility with ETO and Plasma sterilisation. For details on compatible processes, please contact your Olympus representative.
