Linear Ultrasound Bronchoscope
Linear Ultrasound Bronchoscope
The BF-UC260FW bronchofibrevideoscope makes an important contribution to the staging and diagnosis of lung cancer. The larger 2.2 mm channel improves suction capability and device insertion. While superior imaging and compatibility with leading ultrasound processors makes biopsies with the BF-UC260FW safer and more accurate.
The innovative hybrid design of the BF-UC260FW gives you superior ultrasound imaging along with an enlarged channel diameter, for improved suction capability and device insertion during bronchoscopy. Compatibility with the popular EU-ME2 compact endoscopic ultrasound centre as well as the industry-leading ProSound Alpha10, makes biopsies safer and more accurate, offering an alternative to mediastinoscopy. Clear visualisation of the dedicated echogenic aspiration needle completes the picture of a scope making an important contribution to the staging and diagnosis of lung cancer.
The channel diameter of the BF-UC260FW has been enlarged to 2.2 mm for improved suction capability and device insertion.
The ultrasonic cable connects with the EU-ME2 compact endoscopic ultrasound centre as well as EU-C2000 and Hitachi Aloka's industry-leading ProSound alpha10.
This scope offers wider ultrasound scanning and higher resolution. A higher sensitivity Doppler function is available with ProSound Alpha10 and EU-ME2.
Because the ultrasonic cable is detachable, reprocessing is simplified and placement into an automatic endoscope reprocessor is facilitated.
The BF-UC260FW combines video and fibreoptic technologies, offering the same functionality as videoscopes yet with a slim insertion tube diameter.
The channel diameter of the BF-UC260FW has been enlarged to 2.2 mm for improved suction capability and device insertion enabling you to perform versatile bronchoscopy procedures with one scope and offering an alternative to mediastinoscopy.
The ultrasonic cable connects with Olympus' popular EU-ME2 compact endoscopic ultrasound centre as well as Hitachi Aloka's industry-leading ProSound alpha10, making biopsies safer and more accurate than conventional blind TBNA.
Wider ultrasound scanning and a higher resolution ultrasound image, plus higher sensitivity Doppler function available with ProSound Alpha10 and EU-ME2, combine to enable clear visualisation of the dedicated echogenic aspiration needle.
Because the ultrasonic cable is detachable, reprocessing is simplified and placement into an automatic endoscope reprocessor is facilitated.
Combining video and fibreoptic technologies, The BF-UC260FW offers the functionality of a videoscope yet with an insertion tube diameter of only 6.2 mm, including incorporated ultrasound transducer. The distal tip diameter is only 6.9 mm.
