Inhibiting infection growth and odour

Available in all popular sizes for otological applications, Blu ear packings inhibit the growth of infection and odour-causing micro organisms thanks to a patented bacteriostatic compound.

Preventing granulation formation

Rosette packing strips are easily removed without discomfort and help to prevent the formation of granulations on the surface of the tympanic graft.

Ideal for tympanum splinting

Medical-grade silicone foil strips are ideal for splinting of the tympanum and ear canal, and can remain in the outer ear canal for up to 29 days.

Blu ear packings and wicks

Blu ear products offer more than the standard PVA sponge and are available in all otological sizes. Biocompatible, bacteriostatic, and hydrophilic with a micropore surface, Blu sponge products are safe, gentle and durable.

Rosette packings

Rosette packing strips can be coated with an antibiotic ointment and dipped in Ringer’s solution to help create a rosebud packing. They are easily removed without discomfort and prevent granulation formation on the tympanic graft.

Silicone foil strips

Ideal for tympanum and ear canal splinting following tympanoplasty or middle ear surgery, the pre-cut medical-grade silicone strips can remain in the outer ear canal for up to 29 days and have a blue colour for clear visibility.
