In ERCP cases, adding to the sphincteroplasty to stone extraction treatment, and the technique of endoscopic sphincterotomy (EST) with large balloon dilation for the removal of stone is becoming more common for the treatment of difficult, large common bile duct stones.

StoneMaster V is combined device of EST knife (sphincterotome) and multi-sizing dilation balloon in one endoscopic device. This single device aims to optimize both Sphincterotomy and Sphincteroplasty. It helps to save time by eliminating the need for device exchange in which simplifies stone management. This in turn increases procedure efficiency, which would result to a shorter and safer procedure.

The integrated multi-sizing balloon is continuously adjustable to three controlled dilation diameters. The tapered balloon edges allow to have a clear endoscopic view through the balloon onto the dilated tissue.
