EVIS EXERA III Video Bronchoscope
EVIS EXERA III Video Bronchoscope
A bronchoscope for therapeutic intervention with high definition imaging performance. The powerful BF-1TH190 in Olympus' latest video platform EVIS EXERA III not only offers HDTV in white light observation but also HDTV in a dramatically improved NBI mode. The powerful video chip on the scope's distal tip measures just 6.2 mm with an insertion tube diameter of 6.0 mm. The working channel of 2.8 mm allows a broad range of EndoTherapy procedures to be used. Advancing manoeuverability through Olympus' unique insertion tube rotation function enables precise targeting during biopsies or a repositioning of the endoscope handle for a more comfortable position.
All 190 series bronchoscopes are equipped with the waterproof One-touch connector: The connector improves endoscopy procedures as the scope can be connected to the system with a single touch.
The BF-1TH190 video bronchoscope provides superb HD images; the images are larger with more details noted, hence, making it easier to observe images for effective therapeutic bronchoscopy. The NBI capability has been dramatically improved: In NBI mode it is now possible to view twice the visible distance than before due to the improved performance of the system components. NBI now becomes an effective observation mode for defining changes in the vascular structure of the mucosa.
The working channel accommodates a wide range of instruments while maintaining good suction capacity. The rotatable insertion tube maximises scope maneuverability and targeting of EndoTherapy devices during therapeutic interventions and offers additional degree of freedom for the physician to adjust to a more comfortable body position.
The waterproof one-touch connector improves endoscopy suite management as the scope can be connected to the system in a single movement.
The BF-1TH190 delivers HDTV image resolution to provide a much more detailed, larger and easier to observe image, compared to its predecessors.
The unique insertion tube rotation function allows 120° rotation in each direction allowing precise targeting of subsegmental bronchi, for targeted biopsies or for the evaluation of bronchial subsegments by EBUS miniature probes. The insertion tube rotation function improves the procedure as it provides the opportunity to keep a relaxed body position even in the more difficult to intubate areas.
NBI is a valuable tool for revealing neoangiogenic changes in the submucosal tissue. With the improved performance of the system components it is now possible to view twice the distance compared to before. NBI now becomes a really convenient observation mode for defining changes in the vascular structure of the mucosa.
The wide 2.8 mm instrument channel of this H-scope accommodates a broad range of EndoTherapy instruments, enabling a wide variety of interventional bronchoscopy procedures to be conducted with ease.
The videobronchoscope has a built-in memory chip, which allows it to display scope information on the monitor. This enables tracking of bronchoscopes in the endoscopy unit.
The BF-1TH190 can be embedded into existing cleaning and disinfection workflows, supporting full traceability and documentation of all reprocessing-relevant phases. The scope is also waterproof, making water-resistant caps unnecessary.
The BF-1TH190 is fully compatible with Olympus ETD washer/disinfectors and the Olympus endoscope drying cabinet for complete endoscope drying and storage for extended periods under safe conditions.
Optional sterilisation is supported by compatibility with ETO and plasma sterilisation. For details on compatible processes, please contact your Olympus representative.
